   Swift POS has several data entry helpers to make data entry faster and to better ensure
that information is entered properly.   Telephone numbers, when entered as unformatted
strings of either 7 or 10 digits, are automatically formatted as:
    (454)555-1212 or 555-1212.
   The program also checks number and currency fields for improper characters and
automatically removes them. If currency amounts are entered without a decimal point,
the program will insert one in the proper place.

Swift POS comes equipped with a built-in backup and restore program. The backup
program generates a file that is compatible with most zip programs. In the event that the
computer system crashes, the entire program can be restored from the file created by the
backup program.

The customer list can be exported to a TAB delimited text file that can be opened by
many word processors and spreadsheet programs. These programs can then take the
information and print envelope mailing labels. This feature is useful for the company that
sends mail-out notifications of events such as sales or for discount coupons.
